These are points shows for members with a Jumping trophy to be awarded at the end of the season
By entering you agree to abide by High Peak Riding Club's Jumping Rules and COVID-19 Rules as set out below
Please remember - due to Covid-19 restrictions - spectators are now permitted but must adhere to social distancing and social gathering limits (groups of 30 outdoors)
This is a BRC rule in line with current government guidance
- Rossettes to 6th place in all classes
- Classes will be split if 6 or more Juniors enter
- Maximum of 3 classes per horse regardless of rider
- Pre entries only – no entries on the day
- Entries close Tuesday before the show
- Times will be released Thursday before the show
- Non Members must complete the Covid-19 declaration form and return it via email to email@example.com otherwise their entry will be refunded.
Class 1 - 30-40cm, no fillers, open to lead rein
Class 2 - 50 cm
Class 3 - Speed - 1 round against the clock - 60 cm
Class 4 - 60 cm
Class 5 - 70 cm
Class 6 - 80 cm
Class 7 - 90 cm
Class 8 - Chase Me Charlie
All competitors compete at their own risk
Competitors are strongly advised to have a minimum of public liability insurance in place.
Liability – the organisers or anyone acting on their behalf accept no liability whatsoever for loss, injury, or damage to any animal, property, persons, or vehicle how so ever caused.
Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted and comply to one of the following current 2016 hat standards. PAS 015 1998 & 2011 with kite mark, VG1 with kite mark, SNELL E2001 with Snell mark & number, ASTM-F1163 with SEI mark and AS/NZS 3838 1998, 2003 & 2006.
Competitors are strongly advised to wear a body protector.
The jumping will be run in the spirit of British Show Jumping rules. The judges/steward’s decision is final.
Fence heights apply to first round, and will be raised slightly for the jump off.
No ponies/horses under the age of 4.
No excessive use of spurs (max length 3cm) or whips (max length 75cm) will be allowed
All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The committee reserve the right to exclude any horse/pony it considers to be a danger to spectators or competitors. Known kickers must wear a red tail ribbon.
Additional COVID-19 Rules
Non-members will be required to complete and return the BRC’s Non Member Covid-19 Event Declaration Form before being allowed to compete. This form collects details required for NHS Track and Trace purposes. Data will not be used for any other reason and be securely disposed of after 6 months.
Do not attend on the day if you, your helper or anyone in either of your households is feeling unwell, has symptoms of Covid-19 or has come into contact with someone who is showing symptoms.

Please adhere to the 2m social distancing rule at all times and be mindful not to congregate in groups or at the gates, wait to be called forward by a steward.
Riders may wear soft face masks but no face shields. Nothing that attaches to the riding hat.
The number of riders in the warm up ring will be limited to 5 and warmup times will be issued along with jump times.
The warm up area is for mounted competitors only – do not enter on foot. There will be a volunteer in the ring to adjust the practise fence for you.
Please return to your trailer/lorry/stable promptly when you have finished your round and stay with your trailer/lorry/at your stable when not competing.
Please leave the ground after you have finished your classes to keep numbers on the ground to a minimum.
Please bring your own hand sanitiser.
Toilet facilities are available but please use your own where possible. Please operate a one in one out policy when using the toilets.
