Our membership year runs 1st January to 31st December and the cost for the 2022 season is £28.
The club was set up as an adults only club but we now accept Junior membership with no lower age limit.
Juniors are aged 17 or younger on the 1st of January of the current season.
High Peak Riding Club is affiliated to the British Riding Clubs (BRC) and runs to their rules and guidelines.
We are a friendly and supportive club and welcome riders of all ages and abilities. Many of our events are open to non members but Members will always get priority when entering.
We will be running our unaffiliated summer dressage series again this year, a number of jump shows and a summer show and points will be up for grabs for all our Members at each of these events. Trophies will be awarded at our annual presentation evening for those members who collect the most points in each discipline! We will also be running a variety of training clinics in all disciplines so there is something for everyone.
A great deal of work goes into organising events, clinics and competitions in order to offer a full schedule of events for our members and non members alike. The club is run solely by volunteers and with this in mind we kindly ask that all members commit to one duty day a year to support the club. Maybe you only ride dressage, in which case, come along and help at a jump show (or vice versa). None of the jobs are difficult and there will be committee members available on the day to support you if necessary.
Places on our Summer Camp will be offered to Members only and you must complete a duty day to secure your place.
Please note that the BRC are no longer sending out plastic membership cards - they will email your welcome information to you so please keep an eye out for it.
